Hi all, well after almost 22 months we were able to hold the first club lunch of the new season, what a relief! A full house was very well catered for by Helen and the other ladies and ably served by our new waiters from the U16s who did a splendid job. With a crowd in excess of 300, we witnessed a very entertaining match between Bromley and Old Dunstonians. Bromley eventually got the win very late on in the game. Thanks go to all who attended the lunch and all the other supporters who turned out for the match.
Unlike a lot of clubs, the majority of the BRFC 1stXV is made up of homegrown players who have come through the ranks. Credit goes to our Mini and Junior sections for their coaching. On a home matchday Saturday I would love to see more support from those sections, we are after all one club. So if you have a couple of hours to spare please bring up the boys and girls who one day may represent the club.
The next lunch is THE LADIES LUNCH on SATURDAY the 18th of December. Of course, all are welcome.
